About me

I came to coaching many years ago after I received a series of coaching sessions. They were conducted by a terrific coach who was very patient too.

I must admit, at first I thought it might be a load of old mumbo-jumbo, but I quickly realised that - when done well  - it's anything but! Coaching is the best bit of "me time", you can have. During coaching sessions, you are given the time and space to make sense of your thoughts; to be challenged and supported; to be the best version of yourself.

And so, fast-forward a few years and I am now an EIA accredited coach.

My Experience

I have 57 years of life experience, and there’s been a lot of life to navigate! Family, children, divorce, bereavement, life-changing moments, relationships, careers and, more recently, a later-life ADHD diagnosis... you name it - I’ve experienced it!

But all of this experience enables me to support people through their life's challenges.

Remember, through all the challenges in life, there is always a ray of hope and a reason to keep going.

I welcome enquiries from small business owners and charity leaders.

I'm continuously honing and further developing my coaching skills. This means I continue to have regular coaching sessions myself, and also keep up to speed with the latest research.

This keeps me focused and working at my best, so I can support you in the most effective way possible.

Having seen the sheer transformational potential within coaching over the years, I would feel privileged to work with you to share the power of positive conversation!

Coaching sessions are usually conducted via ZOOM.

Alternatively, we can use the good old-fashioned phone!

However, ZOOM means we can see each other and this improves our interaction. Face-to-face sessions are available if required.

Please feel free to book a complimentary session, and we can have a no-obligation chat to see if we're a good fit for each other. If you’re unsure if coaching or if I am the right coach for you, this will give you further insight; no mumbo-jumbo - I promise!

Testimonials

"Jo helped me as a career coach when we worked together at Oxfam.
Over the course of our sessions together we looked at feedback that I had been receiving and skills I wanted to develop further. I found her to be an attentive listener with probing insightful questioning skills.

Her approach to coaching is practical and collaborative, guiding the people she coaches with care and compassion.

By the end of our work together, we not only addressed those areas we agreed to cover but I came away with a clear path to embed those changes and make them sustainable..“
